Pargas Organ Festival 27.6-1.7

During the summer of 2011 the Pargas church is being repaired. The Festival will be spread out to other churches and places in the area. In the Nagu church we present  a second performance of a newly composed cantata by Olli Kortekangas - a work for four singers and twelve instrumentalists

The opening concert is in the town hall of Väståboland, featuring the soprano Päivi Nisula among others. A concert is given in the Kuusisto church with Elina Mustonen, cembalo, Anni Haapaniemi, oboe.

A more intimate concert is held in Lemlax mansion featuring mezzosoprano Melis Jaatinen, Eero Palviainen, lute and Varpu Haavisto on gamba.

Two short cources in organ are offered in the blessing chapel. Two song courses are arranged as usual.
The organ festival ends on friday as the students perform in two free concerts.
