Kimito Island Music Festival 12-17.7.2011

We proudly present the 13th annual Kemiönsaari Island Music Festival in the spectacular cultural landscape of the island. The artistic directors of the festival are Katinka Korkeala and Sonja Korkeala.

The themes of this summer are the music of Dvorak and Mahler. This year we introduce a new traditione - theme instrument. This summer it is contra base.

In addition to the artistic directors we will experience among others Helena Juntunen (soprano), Essi Luttinen (mezzo soprano), Petri Bäckström (tenor), Eveliina Kytömäki (piano), Gerhard Urban (violin), Martin Wandel (violia), Clemens Weigel (cello), Ulrich Wolff  (double bass) and the  Doina Klezmer-ensemble.
